Smti. Priya Kumari Shah a 4-year-old girl from Shillong, Meghalaya, had suffered from burns due to an accident at home where hot water fell on the child. The child was immediately rushed to Nazareth hospital for treatment of her burns. The girl’s family was very worried about the expenses of the treatment but they were informed by the hospital staff that since the girl has been registered under MHIS & PMJAY scheme they will receive cashless benefits as per the packages entitled.
